Young Costa Rican Scientists San Jose, CA 2010 Visit
In March of 2010 Intel Corporation held their annual young scientist competition here in San Jose, CA. Seven students from Costa Rica competed and were escorted by Department of Education Officials, Intel executives and a team from Teletica TV. They visited San Jose and San Francisco while here. Here is part of their adventure.
The San Jose Sister Cities Committee here in San Jose, CA arranged for lunch and a tour of downtown San Jose along with a reception at San Jose City Hall. The following day we gave them
a tour of the Bay Area starting with VTA light rail to Diridon station where we took Caltrans up the pennisula to San Francisco and the Golden Gate.

November 2010 The San Jose, CA Committee traveled to San Jose, CR where we met with members of the team who visited with the young scientists. We had a fantastic trip and made arranges for a delegation from San Jose, CA to visit San Jose and Costa Rica in 2011 to celebrate the San Jose to San Jose 50 year anniversary.
