San Jose, Costa Rica

San Jose, Costa Rica (Population: 336,000) is located in Central America between Nicaragua in the north and Panama in the south. San Jose is the capital and largest city of Costa Rica. San Jose is a stop for international airlines, the hub of the regions highway system, and home to several universities. Costa Rica is known for its beautiful beaches and lush, tropical rain forests.  "PURA VIDA!"

The San Jose relationship began in 1961 and descendents of a founding family are members of our committee to this day. We will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2011 and plans for a reunion in San Jose, Costa Rica are underway.

The San Jose to San Jose Committee meets most months at City Hall in the west wing on what is normally the 4th Friday of each month from 6 PM to 8 PM. Guests are welcome and we go to dinner after the meeting.
